			<description><![CDATA[What a wonderful teacher & peer.  I was both a student and later an instructor at WSTC.  My dad taught there as well.  Izzy was a very methodical teacher using the rolling transparent writing surface on an overhead projecter to deliver his lecture.  I am confident many people benifited from him.  We were fortunate to have a great faculty and Izzy contributed to the wonderful experience of learning and working at WSTC.

	In 1995, I was a single mom with two kids , two dogs and little money. I was in a bind and needed to find an apartment. &nbsp;I responded to an ad for a two bedroom apartment and set up an appointment to meet the perspective landlord at Pizza Hut in Watertown to put down a deposit.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	That is when I met Izzy. He patiently listened to my tale of woe how hard it was to find a place that would accept not one, but two dogs. After hearing my story, he said he was willing to give it a try with the two dogs and we would see how it goes. But if there was a problem they would have to go.</p>
<p>
	Needless to say I was thrilled. After moving in Izzy was a good landlord if something needed to be done at the apartment or I needed a few extra days on the rent, Izzy was fine.</p>
<p>
	I try never to forget the people who helped me or who were good to me. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and my prayers are with you.</p>

For me, coming from the chaos and concrete of my NYC boyhood, going to the farm was nothing less than a veritable trip to heaven itself, a green paradise of cornfields, gardens and jalopies too, where the soul of my beautiful cousin Izzy shone so brightly in that wonderland. My memories of him are that of he being one of my favorite cousins, and remembering visiting him in the Connecticut countryside as a youth from Brooklyn, and being duly impressed by both him, his personality, and the rural environs  he dwelt in, which to me were refreshingly  wholesome and quite novel.
