Obituary for Floyd Elmer Sprague Jr.

WOLCOTT- Floyd Elmer Sprague, Jr. age 81 of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on January 19th 2016 at the Pines of Bristol after an extended illness.

Floyd was born May 27, 1935 in Canaan, CT, the son of the late Floyd Elmer Sprague, Sr. and Alice (Evans) Sprague. Floyd spent many years as a warehouse worker in the manufacturing industry prior to his retirement.

Among his survivors are his sister, Minerva Nicholas of Meriden, his aunt, Katherine Yeno of Wolcott, as well as several other extended family members. He is predeceased by his brother Ernest Sprague.

Burial services for Mr. Sprague will be held privately in the family plot in Irondale Cemetery, Millerton, NY. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
