The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Madsen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Laura Hunyadi-Baldwin
Condolence: Sending condolences to Terri, Diane, Kathy and all of John's extended family. Growing up John was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He was our neighborhood "Fozzy Bear". From coaching basketball to driving us to endless community activities John did it all with encouragement, a bit of teasing, and always a joke! Every year John was our unofficial Halloween escort dressed as "Prince Charming" in his jeans and red and black checkered hunting jacket. He had the utmost of patience, especially the year we were 4 little girls all bickering inside the Dragon costume our moms had made for us! I have many more fond memories of "Mr. Madsen" and will always look back at my time growing up next door to the Madsen family with joy

Condolence: Condolences to the Madsen family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

Condolence: We enjoyed John after we moved to Oxford Greens 4 years ago. Played bocchi with him and loved his competitiveness and his teasing. We will miss him and our sympathy goes to his family.
