WATERBURY, CT – Michael Peter Wickham age 58 of Waterbury, formerly of Hamden, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 23 2017 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of Saint Mary’s Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his children after an unexpected illness.
Michael was born August 7, 1958 in Athol, MA and was raised in the Hamden CT area where he attended local schools. Michael spent several years working for Sikorsky Aircraft and was currently working for Envipco Corporation in Naugatuck. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed golfing, the Boston Red Sox’s, Celtics, and the New England Patriots.
Among his survivors are his children; Chris, Johnathan, and Nicole Wickham, all of Brandon FL. in addition to his brother, John Wickham of SC.
Funeral services for Mr. Wickham will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St. Waterbury has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
