WOLCOTT CT – Eunice Ann (McSweeney) Ward age 77 of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the wife of Francis Ward.

Mrs. Ward was born on February 25, 1940 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Reilly) McSweeney. She was the youngest of two daughters. Eunice worked for many years in the Finance Department of Reymonds Bakery in Waterbury. She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church, Wolcott and will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother as well as a devoted Boston Red Sox fan.

Besides her husband of 54 years, Eunice leaves her sons; James Ward and his wife, Yvette of Wolcott, Frank Ward and his wife, Julia of Meriden as well as her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Committal services for Mrs. Ward will be held privately at the convenience of the family in All Saint’s Cemetery, Waterbury. A Memorial Mass will be held at a future date.
