Obituary for Doreen Laliberte
THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF DOREEN LALIBERTE
WATERBURY – Doreen Laliberte age 51 of Waterbury, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was the former wife of Steven Laliberte.
Doreen was born September 2, 1966 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Peter and Alma (Feero) Fontano. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and spent many years working as a paraprofessional for the Waterbury School system where she assisted many children throughout the districts schools. Doreen was an avid runner and was a member of the 169er Club and was a devoted mother and grandmother. What brought the greatest joy to Doreen was spending time with her daughters, grandchildren family and close friends. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Among her survivors are her three daughters; Rebecca Zuraitis and Nicole Laliberte of Waterbury and Jennifer Laliberte of Wolcott. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren; Alexxis, Zoie, and Ava in addition to her god daughter, and several brothers, sisters, and other extended family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Laliberte will be held on Wednesday, November 1st 2017 at 7:30pm at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St. Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in All Saints Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Doreen’s family on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm until the time of the service at 7:30pm at the funeral home.
